A true insight into the meticulous work of the Tooth Fairy. From the active imaginations of young children to the mundane, grimy reality of the Tooth Fairy Factory, this short film explores the growing need for myths and lies to offer an escape from the tedium of everyday life.
Hazel Baillie
was born in Dundee, Scotland in 1982.
A recent graduate of Edinburgh College of Art, she received a BA Honours degree in Film and Television studies.
Her previous films include: Uno, a short documentary which was nominated for the Saltire Society Grierson Award at the Edinburgh International Film Festival 2002; and Be Gone With the Phone, winner of a competition sponsored by Nokia, Orange and Edinburgh International Film Festival for a 15 second mobile phone sting which was subsequently shown before every film at both the 2003 and 2004 festivals.
She has worked as editor on a number of short films including The Pride and Prejudice Diaries for Future Time Pictures and Working Title.
